Our program is designed to give all children ages 5-12 the opportunity to have fun learning and playing the great American pastime of baseball and softball.i

On this website you will find all the information you need to be an active participant in our program, including schedules, game rules, information on special events, teams and BoD contact information. :: New Bat Standards ::
Dear BYBS Community,

We hope everyone is back in to the routine of school and all the Fall activities that go along with it.

We’re writing to let you know of an important change to bats for the upcoming 2018 Spring season.   USABat, the organization that oversees bat standards has changed the requirements for bats in an effort to make them safer for youth players.

ALL BATS must now display the logo below.  Any bat not stamped from the factory with this logo cannot be used in play.  Unfortunately this means that any bat you have purchased in recent years is no longer useful.  If you plan on purchasing a bat, ensure that is does has this stamp.  BYBS coaches will have an approved bat available for players to share.

For more information about the change you can read this on the Cal Ripken website.

Click here for a list of approved bats.

Kind regards,
BYBS
